Vicky (BA English, MA (Hons) Education)is a mother of two, grandmother of four and lives in Auckland. She has been a stay-at-home mum, school library assistant, secretary, executive assistant, retailer, seamstress, embroiderer and tutor, local body politician, amateur thespian both on stage and behind the scenes, a professional conference organiser and now an author. She started writing seriously in 2007 after years of interest in New Zealand history and genealogy.
